hey, i just got a palmer halo board.. and i ride ice, powder, sticky and smooth snow all year.. and it changes quite a bit.. does anyone have this board and knows what it rides on best and if has good performance on all differnt types of snow???
never riden palmer before, but i usually hear good things about them. over all good freeride company

yeah, palmer is a european comany (austrian, i believe), and bordercross is huge in europe. this is probably why palmer tends to make good boarder cross boards. i've never ridden one, but i've heard from various people who have that they tend to be a bit stiffer, which is consistent with the characteristics of a boarder cross board. if you're riding in harder, crusty conditions, that's probably good. in softer varying conditions, a stiffer board will tend to plow through snow rather than put you on top of it. either way, you're gonna have fun, so enjoy!
