best pants to go w/ brown jacket?

Hey I have a brown jacket and my pants are getting pretty small on me so I was wondering what you guys think would go best w/ my jacket. Should I go matchy matchy and get brown pants too? or tan? black? Just need some opinions, thanks

White pants with brown pinstripes.

Lots of stuff matches brown...Various shades of green, blue, red, other shades of brown, white, tan, etc...Brown's a pretty neutral color so the only thing I really avoid putting it with is stuff like grey or black (even though that can work too in certain cases.)

And btw, I don't really think it matters if people want their pants and jackets to look nice together. I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you're going to drop a ton of cash on outerwear, there's nothing wrong with wanting to like the way it looks, as long as that's not your only concern.

But seriously... nothing wrong with matching. People take things way too seriously. There's a fashion forum for a reason, if you aren't interested in whether or not blue goes with brown, the stay out. ;)

That combo would be sweet, but I really dont want white pants, because I dont wash my pants... ever (thank God i dont have a BO problem haha) and they would look dirty all the time.

yeah thanks i figured a lot of colors go with brown cuz its a neutral color; i was thinkin tan but hey, blue or red work too (tryin to stay away from green-brown combo ;) ).

I like tan that just me. I have like white ones I got a brown jacket too. I think white or tan looks the best with brown thats just me though but I wear a lot of brown.

you may like it but when you're a little girl, it's insulting.
its another way of saying, "Hey person who looks like a guy in their gear."

I do think the lifties were colorblind though. almost all of my stuff is hot pink, maroon and white. in that girly kinda way.

untill we saw a 13 year old wearing the same thing..
i say just pick a random color and go with it
