Alright then-I have a lot of trouble finding people to snowboard with myself, male or female!
Where do you live? (not specifically lol...that would be creepy...what part of the uk?!)
Nice to meet you! :p

I'm from Kingston-upon-Thames. I'm trying to get a trip together to Milton Keynes with the uni snowboard society, but the majority seemed to lose interest around christmas, so I didn't actually go, but maybe there'll be another trip soon. Its quite a bit cheaper with a group student booking-£20 each inc transport for 3 hours.
I usually go snowboarding in Chamonix with my four year old son, but last year I went with him, my sister and her two offspring and girlfriend of my nephew. Some friends express an interest in snowboarding but they never seem to be able to afford it!

20 quid for 3 hours including transport?! That's really good... where do I sign up?
I know on a sunday they do a student thingy, 3 hours for 30 quid.
Sorry, I'm not a female rider. I have managed to talk some of my female friends into taking a lesson or two tho... Well, they say they're gonna.
it is a really expenisve hobby...so unless people really wana do it...they wont. Nightmare!
Snow gump is just your ranking at the minute...it changes with how many posts you write...its nothing bad!

yeh well hmmmm i'm a girl boarder in the uk but im in scotland (Dunfermline ish) so its kinda not much use to you guys but it is kinda the way it goes cos the only girl i could get to go boarding with me ended up in a bad way so shes out which is just pants!
i think the biggest problem with convincing folk is the bit where you almost HAVE to go on holiday because of the lack of snowy mountains in the uk
but then maybe get them to ski or find out if any of your friends already do cos you can still spend time on the slopes with them!

I'm not a chick, but I've boarded in a dress. Let me know if you're heading to Milton Keynes as I've been off the slopes for 2 weeks now and I'm starting to get antsy.

Not too far. I'm in London so it's a short drive. Give me a shout when you're going and I'll head over if I'm available.
