Yeah so i can't figure out if this is a real problem or not...but i have trouble looking where i'm going on backside spins and front boards. on my front boards i tend to look right at my feet and the rail...not even at the end of the rail...i don't twist my body like most people. on my bs spins i grab with my back hand which pretty much stops my spin and i definitely don't look on my bs 180.
I get pretty lucky i guess and land bs 540s and stuff...

it all looks really styled which is cool but do any instructors have anything to say about it? what would you say to help this problem/spot my landings better?

all my backside spins are 3's. and 180's since i can just pop those anywhere and get lucky.

but on front boards. look over your shoulder at the end of the rail, like bring your shoulder past your chin, this will also help to rotate more fully.

a lot of people on front boards look right under their arm facing down the rail so like left arm if ur reg or right if your goofy unless u switch it up.

I definitely look under my arm, easiest way to do it. Just bend over and get low and sneek a peek under you arm.

Here's a picture I have of when I started doing frontslide boardslides a couple years ago:

You can see me rotating and extending my body to come off the box. And it's a good view of me looking under my arm at the end of the box.

heh mike i used to do this myself for YEARS... your natural ability and your ability to identify where you are in the air compared to the landing is landing your tricks because of your experience riding.

In all honesty there is no magic trick... but keep telling yourself to look... once you can break your habbit, you will LOVE the feeling you get when you actually get your eyeballs where they should be.
