I personally think that people who wear jeans on the hill look really really dumb.. sometimes black jeans can be pulled off but only semi.. a lot of the time its the noobs with the jeans n the rented boards and they are the people who need ski pants cuz they are constantly falling on their a$$ and their pants are soaked.. who does it, who hates it.. why do you do it?

it's stupid. alot of people who have never skiied before do it because they dont have snow pants. but the first time they fall their but gets really wet. and it just looks rediculous when people wear them.

Ive worn them once, but that was because I got to the hill and realize I forgot my pants hahaha. I didnt fall much and it was fine, I think Id do it on a spring day for sure.

I giggle to myself when I see people in jeans. When you fall and get wet you will be cold the entire day because denim takes a long time to dry.

i admit ive worn jeans on the hill before. But the ones ive worn are like skin tight and ive only done it to be funny and stand out once in a while. But i was supprised by how much i could move around in my jeans.

but for the noobs wearing jeans with the rentals, its funny to laugh at them

i did when i learned cause i also lacked snowpants. but at least i wasnt on a rental i was on my friends brothers board. after that first time i got hooked and bought pants and a setup

wow its a Huge Fad up here in MI... you done see it too often but you do see a few kids that wear it on a regular basis. Also alot of Holden and tighter pants look goin on.. Somepeople can pull the jeans/tight pants look off, but others need to buy some people need to buy some better fitting stuff. I do admit though I wear tight snowpants sometimes as a joke.

yea most my friends rock the tight pants some jeans occasionaly i think its looks alright style wise on a board you can just see everything that they do like on rails and what not.
as for gapers wearing them it will never change gapers wear jeans cause they dont go enough to get snow pants. whatever let them get hella wet.

Only jeans I wear are a pair of semi-waterproof jean snowboard pants Burton made a couple of years. I only rock them in the spring though. Not good on freaazing conditions.

i do on warm, sunny spring days, cuz my snowpants are too darn hot. i just rock flannel PJs underneath, and i stay considerably dry. i just make sure they're kinda tight and fit OVER my boots. otherwise i look like an Uber noob...

Only time I saw a snowboarder (not a noob) with jeans, he was anarexic. His legs were the size of my arms. And the jeans looked like they were his 7 year old sisters.

and i had a bad experience with a skiier who wore jeans...she was sitting beside me on the chairlift, and when we were getting off she stuck her pole RIGHT infront on my board, causing me to fall and my jacket to get stuck on the chair. the chair wasn't stopping either. i bet you can guess what happened next haha

It seems to me that the people who are saying "Jeans=Noobs" are soley basing their judgment on what the other rider is wearing, which makes absolutely no sense at all. So who gives a **** what other people are wearing as long as their out for a good time, not to mention everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I've seen a few good riders wearing jeans... i laugh at them even more when they fall and have to go change their pants. Some of them are my friends and I get to tell them the "told ya so!" line... so its worth just letting them go till they figure out its not cool or punk... its just kinda stupid.
