I like a board with a stiffer flex pattern, it should be light and easy to maneuver. I want a sintered base. And more than anything, what I find my board lacking, is stance options. I like a wider stance than my board allows. As for graphics, I want nice but not girly. Feminine but not flowery.

I'm short/don't like riding longer boards so many of the boards I become interested in riding do not come in a size that I feel comfortable riding or would like to ride as seen fit for my style of riding. Or stores do not carry the shorter sizes of the women's boards they order. This leaves me with a limited amount of boards to choose from but I'm very happy with my current setup.

I like freeriding too but there isn't really freeriding in CT since the trails are 30 seconds long and are for the most part, all greens.

But only out west like Fae said, and I go out west only a week per winter. Not really any off piste over on the ice coast.

18. If you have your own board, what are the attributes you look for in your perfect board?

Ohh, let's see. Pop! I like a board with really good pop. Flex is important too, I'm not one for stiff boards because I like to fool around on the slopes and stiff boards don't really fit that description. Stance options are important..I'm 5'0 but my stance is 21.5" (if you can't picture that..just imagine really wide..you can ask Fae) so having good stance options for a board my size is important. Weight..if it's a heavy board, forget it. Also, the effective edge is really important..does the board ride like it's a longer board or is it a long board with such a short effective edge that it feels like a short board. Knowing whether it's directional or twin helps me out, I'd prefer twin because it's easier to ride switch although I can ride switch on directional okay. I look at stance setback too to see if maybe it can hold up in the powder (nose/tail length play into this part also), I'd prefer a board with no setback.

That is is situated to do a little of everything but has a high 'park' rating, if its going to be perfect the graphics can't be horrible and ugly, and i like negative core profiles. Also, it needs to have that pop that lasts and not just gets broken in after 10 rides. And I want it to be wms specific since it has the better stance width.
