I love pretty much all tea. In fact, one of my favorite things to do is try out new teas. The only "tea" I think is gross is the overly sugared bottled iced tea. That stuff is foul. Fortunately, there are now a bunch of companies that make iced tea and don't sweeten it death. My favorite is Honest Tea's Oo-La-Long Peach. As far as regular hot tea goes, I adore Republic of Tea's Ginger Peach. MMmmmm.

I picked Hot Green... but my true favorite is Green Tea with Jasmine. Trader Joe's makes a yummy one. But the Sushi Restaurants are always better!

that green tea that lipton makes in the like 18 or whatever oz bottle is good iced, all others I like HOT


and the pyramid silk screen bags are a MUST. they allow the tea to steep so much better.


But one word of warning......

tea is caffenated just like coffee, so if you have a weak stomach and havent eaten in awhile and then drink a good bit of tea, be prepared to piss out your ass.....

Depends on what you like. Do you like minty teas, fruity teas, strong black tea taste, strong green tea taste, spicy teas. . .

One thing to try, is to get a boxed assortment (Tazo has a wonderful one for less than $5 and available at most grocery stores) and try them all.

I dont know about all that fruity tea. I normally drink sweet tea (iced black tea, Southern style ofcoarse), hot black tea, or hot green tea. Oh, and iced green tea.

The first time I had sweet tea, my mom (who was living in VA at the time) didn't warn me what it was. I definitely gagged.

Like I mentioned I really don't like really sweet tea.

How did you gag on sweet tea? Sweet tea is the sh*t! Mix some coconut rum in there (or even regular rum-- even if it's cheap crap), and you got a damn good tasting (and realitivly cheap) drink.

It does sound gross.

However, I've had milk in my tea (when I was in Ireland, that's how they served it). It's really not that bad, much tastier than it sounds. Best with stuff like Irish or English Breakfast teas.

Milk is good when it's in really strong, black tea, but I've also had it in Chai and even green tea (in Japan). Sweet tea can be good too, but I have to be in the mood for it.

My favorite afternoon pick-me-up is straight Organic Yerba Mate....

This little tea shop in Anchorage makes a really great tea called "Iditamint" which is a Mate-Cacao blend with spearmint and peppermint - it tastes like a Thin Mint Cookie, even WITHOUT sweetener!
