a few friends and i usually take a holiday to France for a bit of skiing/snowboarding and the next time we go we were thinking of trying to get a bigger group in but there aren't really that many people we know who will go.
sooo....
(although i spose a lot of you are from the US and might not be interested)
how about a trip to Avoriaz in January/February time? i think we'll be staying in Morzine because it has better pubs and such but yeh anyone in?

...Every time I think about going to Europe, I always remember the movie Hostel and how much something like that would suck.

well see what friends you can get in
i quite want to stay in a catered chalet because i cant cook for sh!t and neither can the folks i holiday with... we tried it once lol uncool!
its good craic and if you dont like the folks then you can always ditch everyone and ride alone... you only have to sleep in the bed not chum around wi everyone lol

Well I'll most likely be working in Les Arcs, so a trip to Portes des Soleil isn't really in the cards. There is a very slim chance I may be working in Avoriaz instead, but that would be caused by a laundry list of misfortune so I wouldn't count on it.

Come to Les Arcs instead. The ski area is 10x better.

Going to board in France would be sweet. But since I am a college student (in fall), that means that I am poor and will be living off of Ramen Noodles. lol. But yeah, I was kinda planning on taking a road trip out west to Arizona to visit some family, then probably go riding in New Mexico, but I need to see on more of what's out there in the northern AZ area. Good luck with finding some people though. Hell, even if it's just you and a couple friends, I'd think that'd be cool.

1800 is the best for night life and 2000 has the quickest access to the pistes. I'll probably be based in 2000 but it's easy enough to get around. We have a few chalets in 1800 and the 7 and 8 person ones are cheap as chips.

well the chalet i was looking at was in morzine it was around £500 or £600 that was including meals, flights and airport transfers but from the uk, i dont know how it would work from the US. i use www.igluski.com

and jamie, i've not been boarding long so you'll have to put up wi that lol but i should be moving to glasgow for uni so will probs be at xscape a lot while i'm there
