Alright I'm from Jersey and I just got news that I will be stopping by Whistler for a week or two in January. I would like to know anything that you can tell me about the mountain it would very help full. Thanks

I was there in April and it was amazing. If you're only used to being at Creek, this is like a different planet. All of the runs are super wide open and you can pretty much just go anywhere you want. If you're at Whistler base and take the lift up to the first stop called Mid Station, that's twice the elevation of Creek right there. Then there's a few more stops before you get to the top.

I'd recommend staying at the top half of the mountains where they have the best snow, terrain, views, etc. That's just off the top of my head, so let me know if you have any questions.

Parks were pretty nice actually. You have a good amount to choose from. Though January is one of the best times to be there because that's around the time they get the most snow apparently. So you should go ride the pow, screw the park! :p

And I know you said you want to know about the mountain. Well, all I can tell you is that riding all the way to the very top takes about an hour. And you HAVE to eat at the Mongolian Grill. It's AMAZING. Just do it :) Have fun its an awesome aweseom AWESOME experience

i'm from Whistler what do you wanna know? - except Blackcomb is better, much much better - u wanna know about park or trees? as for the village - its pure party - everyday and everynight! look at : The Peak online, local paper for info on whats going on. Regardless, you'll have amazing time best frigging snow anywhere on the planet!!!!! shoot me specific questions if you wanna know something!
