Has anyone worn any of those beanies with the headphone built in? Are they any descent? I think they'd be kinda cool so you dont have to deal with earbuds coming out of your ear cuz of your beanie and whatever else. Or how about the helmets with headphones in the earflaps? How's the quality of the sound?

I have the Burton headphone beanie. I like it more than the RED as the headphones on the outside look gay. Sound quality is fine and it's comfortable enough.

Yeah, I've seen the Burton ones. Volcom makes them too. I've heard some bad stuff about the quality of the beanie, and that the headphones short out easily.

i won a smirnoff one a while ago and the qualitys fairly good, except my fat head doesnt fit in it very well...supposed to look like a russian fur hat and instead it looks like i've stuck my head up a badgers arse (or some sortof mammal that is grey)

I got the Nixon one off of www.whiskeymilitia for like $11 about a monthy or two ago. It was actually kind of small for a "one size fits all" but it still fits. The sound is okay. Personally I am still going to get some big SkullCandy headphones, but thats just becauser I prefer bigger over the ear headphones. if you can find these pretty cheap go for it, but I wouldnt pay to $35-40 for it new.
here's the one I have off of Dogfunk:

Yeah I'm kinda worried about the durability and quality. 'Cause I don't want to drop $40 and have them turn to crap after only a few times of wearing it. Plus in a day of riding, I'll switch between a beanie and helmet. I pretty much always were a helmet when it gets really icy and when in the park (I learned that lesson a couple of years ago). So earbuds are nice so I can just keep them plugged in and jamming, and not have to worry about switching headphones constantly.
